Communities at the Heart of UHC marked UHC Day on December 12 by celebrating the communities that are instrumental to achieving UHC and the community health workers who make it happen. This year’s UHC Day was an important milestone following the Global Conference on Primary Health Care held in Astana, Kazakhstan, in October, and ahead of the United Nations High-Level Meeting on UHC in 2019.
